The Tony Cannoli is a food cart specializing in Sicilian artisan cannoli! A flaky, crunchy tube-shaped pastry shell stuffed with a ricotta cream filling and garnished with chocolate chips, pistachios, candied fruit, and powdered sugar.
Having had grown up in a Sicilian-American household and frequently taking trips to Sicily with my family, the culture and food has always fascinated me. In 2017, I quit my corporate job and bought a one-way ticket to Sicily to get more in touch with my roots. After roughly a year of immersing myself in the Sicilian culture (and eating a lot of cannoli), I decided I wanted to return to America and share this unique treat in a truly authentic way. Thus, The Tony Cannoli was born in 2018.
Fast-forward to now, my wife, Emma, and I run this cart in Boise, Idaho. We love connecting with people who have nostalgic memories of this pastry who grew up in an Italian household like me. It’s also been so much fun to introduce cannoli to people who have never tried them! Regardless of their background, it’s hard for people to resist this crunchy, creamy, decadent treat.
